Introducing the ALL NEW Columbus Aeronauts Hot Air Balloon
2026-02-16T12:30:51+00:00With production completed, the next step was for balloon manufacturer Cameron Balloons US to test-inflate our new Columbus Aeronauts promotional and passenger-ride hot-air balloon. The official test inflation took place at Cameron Balloons US in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on November 22, 2016.
Every balloon that leaves Cameron’s facility has to earn its sky. The test inflation is where months of design, fabrication, and quality checks come together for the first time in full scale — a chance to inspect every panel, every seam, and every system before the envelope ever sees open air. For us, it was also the first real look at how our vision translated into something you can actually fly.
