Pre Season Inflation of the New Columbus Aeronauts Balloon

With all of the rain and wind we’ve had recently, it’s been impossible to get the new balloon out of the bag and inflate it. But Sunday morning left us with a perfect weather opportunity to finally see how the new balloon looks in person.

Weather is everything in ballooning — it dictates the schedule, shapes the experience, and reminds you that some things are worth waiting for. When the conditions finally cooperate, there’s nothing quite like watching a new envelope fill with warm air for the first time. We think she was worth the wait.
